Commissioned in 2520 by the Lyran Commonwealth, the Dervish stands out at the high end of the medium class of BattleMechs. Capable of reaching speeds up to 86.4 km/h, it keeps pace with medium and light models from the Succession Wars era, supporting allied units effectively. The inclusion of five jump jets gives the Dervish a leaping capacity of 150 meters, excelling in rough terrain—an afterthought in the design that proved invaluable.
