Blood Asp I

Created by Clan Star Adder as an insult to their enemies, Clan Blood Spirit, the Blood Asp has a large amount of available pod space for its size. Drawing from the Kingfisher design, the Blood Asp adds an XL engine, with space constraints leading to the replacement of ferro-fibrous armor with standard plate. The 'Mech is equipped with sixteen tons of this armor and fourteen double heat sinks in its base chassis, making it remarkably versatile and robust.
